St James the Great Church, Aslackby

Liberty Rose Architects have been appointed as the Architects for the roof repair project at St James Church, Aslackby. The project is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Funded.

 

The church is grade I listed. The building generally dates from the 14th and 15th century, however there has been a church on the site since the 11th century. 

​The church is a much-loved building at the heart of village life. Its primary purpose is for worship but it is also used for a a variety of other activities including weekly coffee mornings, film nights, dementia inclusion days, concerts and the village fete.
