This is a large bungalow situated in Alderholt, a large village in East Dorset. The bungalow, although structurally sound was in need of internal refurbishment and rearrangement.

Liberty Rose Architects undertook a survey of the existing building and then undertook a feasibility study reviewing a number of options for the bungalow. These included; minor refurbishment, side extension, major refurbishment and rear and side extensions. The client decided to proceed with the major refurbishment and extensions to the rear and side. Liberty Rose Architects progressed the design, gaining planning permission for the works and then developing the drawings for building control and construction. Liberty Rose Architects liaised closely with the structural engineers and contractors to ensure the works were carried out to the highest standards.

The works are currently still on-site.
