Clairville is a grade II listed house in Ross-On-Wye. The property was built in the early Georgian period, and extended later in the Georgian period. However the basement stones of the house are earlier, potentially 17th century. Inside the house

are a number of period features including the spiral staircase. The building has an interesting history and for much of its life was used as a school, however in the 20th century it was split into 3 apartments.

 

The client has recently purchased the house and wanted to review the house layout and carry out extensive repairs. We carried out a feasibility study reviewing the options for the building and then gained listed building consent for phase 1 of the alterations.
