Full Architectural Services
(RIBA Stage 0-7)
We are able to work with a client from the beginning of a project, understanding a brief, the reason for the project, the budget and timescales, all the way through to its completion. Our aim is to provide a high quality service throughout the design and construction process, guiding and advising the client through all stages. We will provide all Architectural information and advise when consultants or specialists are required.
Specialist Advice on Historic Buildings
We are specialists in historic buildings and are able to work alongside any client, whether a private individual, developer or other Architect practice and provide advise and guidance in relation to historic buildings.
Liberty undertook the SPAB scholarship in 2020, and is fully aware of statutory guidance in relation to historic buildings.
Feasibility Studies
We are able to undertake feasibility studies on a historic property. The feasibility study will be tailored to your requirements, and if required can work with other consultants, such as a quantity surveyor, to develop the study to the required level of detail. We understand that every feasibility study is unique, and we aim to work closely with the client and site to ensure a document of the highest standard is produced.
Pre-App, Listed Building and Planning Applications
We are able to work closely with a client and prepare and submit the necessary documentation for both planning and listed building consent. We have the specialist knowledge required to work with listed buildings we are able to provide bespoke specifications and methodologies for the works to the listed buildings.
Contract Administration
We are able to carry out the role of Contract Administrator on site. This role involves administering a construction contract between client and contractor. Liberty Rose Architects are able to work closely with other consultants on-site to ensure the works are completed to the highest standard, resolving any conflicts which may arise during the process.
Condition Surveys
We are able to carry out condition surveys of historic buildings. These condition surveys enable the owners or mangers of the historic building to understand the current condition of the existing building, the works required to repair the building and the urgency of these works. If required, we can then work with a quantity surveyor to add costs to the survey.
