Cottage Extension

This is a grade II listed building built in the mid- 18th century. It is located in Chorleywood, on the outskirts of the Chilterns. In the garden of the property sits a single story brick garage. Liberty Rose Architects have been working closely with the client to convert the existing garage into accommodation and link this to the main house, making the house suitable as a life time home. The aim of the link extension design was to be sympathetic to the existing building but readable as a later addition, it was also essential that the design added interest to the side elevation.
