St Marys Church, Radnage
Project type
Church
Location
Buckinghamshire
This Grade I listed church was built by the Knights Templar in the 12th century, it still proudly shows evidence of both pre- and post-Reformation wall paintings, and you can even spot an original consecration cross in the tower crossing!
Constructed from flint with stone dressings, including clunch, the church has seen centuries of care. Over the years, we’ve carried out a number of repairs, including some essential work on the timber in the porch.
Right now, we’re tackling the interior low level damp, carefully removing cementitious plaster at low level and replacing it with traditional lime—slowly but surely bringing this historic building back to a good condition.
